Default Flex fuel pump

How much rwhp power are these really capable of making? I've heard several mixed opinions 400-650 rwhp.... Does anyone have real experence with these? Lonnies performance told me close to 650rwhp. My truck made lil over 450 before I had wastegate problems, now that is fixed I'll be taking it back in after I get the meth hooked up.Do you guys think I'll have enough pump?

Well that and I have 75lb injectors.I do have a fp gauge but it went haywire so I'll need to check connection and the one for the dyno was broke at the time.. carbongmc is close to 550 but he's has a 09 with a ffp so I wouldnt be surprised if u could make 650 with these pumps. Not sure if theres any difference in pumps from a 06 to an 09 but my truck should be 5-550 when all said and done.

hook your gauge up and give it a shot then... I know several of the ff guys with the same pump as you run BAP's on the rail.

I'm interested to find out the answer to that because I've got an 06 ff truck and I'm got a S468 breathing into the 5.3. I've heard of 550rwhp but, nothing over that.

I made 558rwhp so far, with as much meth as I could put through the biggest nozzle Snow Perf makes, and Im totally out of pump. Fuel pressure on that run started off at 65psi, and dropped off to 34psi as boost built up. I was told the FF pumps can support 600-650 at the ground as well, but I for one can tell you it cant on my set up. Im not saying its not a bad *** factory pump. Geoff (EPS) and I ran the numbers, and it basically flows a little more then a Walbro 255. Also, I spoke with Mike, the tuner at Thunder Racing, and he said they see the Camaro pumps drop off at 550 rwhp as well, and they are set up the same as the varible voltage flex fuel trucks. My plan very soon is to go with possibly an Aeromotive 340 in the tank and return style. I dont see any other way to get anything more out of the stock set up.

Also, better confirm the nbs flex pumps are the same as the nnbs, because I highly doubt they are. Could flow more, but probably not.

I'm probably at 450-475rwhp on E85 and my AFR's are fine all the way to redline with 75# injectors; however my original pump went out a few months ago (it would run out of gas with 6 gallons in the tank still, 128k miles on it). Replaced it with another stock flex fuel pump and still runs strong. I have a Kenne Bell Boost a Pump on it.

What about running a voltage booster to them, like a MagnaVolt or Boost-a-Pump?

I tried experimenting with a BAP over the last few weeks of the year. The stock fuel pump control module is like a 12v to 12v convertor. You can send 18 volts into it, and if it doesnt fry it after extended periods, it only lets 12v or less come out of it. Its made to drop the voltage sent into it, because the NNBS trucks have varible voltage pumps. Installing the BAP after the FPCM and before the pump makes the BAP constantly blow fuses. The BAP doesnt like trying to boost voltage when only 5 volts is getting sent to it.
