Default First turbo build...

I've swapped several LS truck engines into engine bays where they didn't grow, but always N/A. That is about to change. I have a 2005 LQ4/NV4500 combo that I am putting into an older 4x4 SUV. I like the idea of a manual, but it remains to be seen if I like the NV4500 in this one with a turbo or not. I have a GT4082R turbo in hand, and would like to be in the 500-550hp range all said and done.
What I need to know is this...what else do I need to make everything all play nicely together? What injectors, fuel pump and line size, etc. What hard parts am I going to need to upgrade on the engine...intake, TB, etc?
Basically, I have an engine, a turbo, and a desire to build...now what?

Thanks!

Use the KISS method.

Stock intake and stock throttle body will work perfectly fine, no reason to upgrade those.

You'll need/want 60lb or 80lb injectors at least to be 100% safe and use brands with known good reviews and injector data for tuning.

A new fuel pump will be needed to keep up, like a 250 walboro or similar for a lower HP build. Not sure about a regulator and what you'll need there. Stock size lines will handle the fuel flow.

Stock bottem end will hold up to 650+whp on that 6.0 for sure, so not an issue for you. Stock camshaft should be able to get you too 500hp aswell, but upgraded valve springs are a must in my eyes.
