sucks man , i know how it is to blow a head gaskettoo i just pushed water out mine on my 11.1 run.dont get discouraged with the down time its part of the game .Sucks you killed a trick flow head. i have the same heads on my 427 with a couple extra bolt holes. good luck and get it back up and running soon

go straight to c16 and drop the meth. Use the meth with any other fuel but c16...research "reid vapor pressure" especially c16 rvp vs other fuels
Iron block and afr heads is a sturdy combo. With c16 you should be able to push that combo to some big power. 93 is just not the fuel to use with the loads you are seeing. You dont need c16...more likely 104 octane but c16 allows a lot of tuning errors without the motor eating itself.

yes but until he gets everything nailed down c16 is cheap insurance vs a motor. I have been at 13.3 afr before at the 1/8....car slowed down a little but didnt hurt any parts. If he wants to run the meth then try sunoco maximal with the meth. its 116 octane as well. He already lifted the head on his first pass on the last combo...just trying to save him some pain.
