Ive been lurking for a while and this is my first post. So here is the problem im having. 2011 4.8 gmc sierra with a 76mm holset. Drives fine until it comes into boost and then it says service stabilitrak and goes into limp mode. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is driving me crazy

 

I would look to who tuned it.

 

Just curious about why you say that? Not meaning that in a d**k way just curious because he told me it was because of a throttle body tsb with these trucks. My method of thinking was that it's an 11 with 35000 miles and never did this before the turbo

 

Upgrade to a silver blade ZO6 TB. Problem solved.

 

Tried switching to a ls7 tb and it wouldn't start. I was trying to rule out possibilities. What's involved in switching to the z06 tb

 

Nothing bolt it on and go.

 

Alright switched to the silver blade z06 tb and now it will turn over but not start.

 

Sounds like you have another problem. But with switching to the silver blade tb you will never have the problem going into limp mode again and the warning lights. Try a tps relearn with scan tool.

 

When you say it sounds like you have other problems. What are you thinking?
