I pulled my Radix last night so that I could do a "table top" install of my 60# injectors and the cable 90MM TB mod. It kicked my butt. That damn passenger side intake bolt that is in the rear. It wasn't playing nice with my "wobble" connector. Now that I think about it, once my rails are up 1/2" due to the spacers, that has potential to kicking butt again on the reinstall.

Anyhoot, MAAAAAAAAN my radix is dirty. MAAAAAAAAN that oil going into the blower is just plain nasty. Looks like I'll be getting a catch can as well. NASTY!!!

The Nick Williams TB isn't going to work as I thought either. Nothing lines up like the other TB mod threads. The center hole above the TB when lined up makes the TB opening to the left of the blower opening. Sooooo, the hole saw trick that one member so nicely posted about isn't going to work. I am kinda bummed, but screw it...I'll hack it up and take it to a pro-welder if I screw it up too bad. lmao

i couldnt help but notice that claw hammer on your workbench. everyone knows you cant install injectors and tb without a claw hammer.

 

hey man, i'm glad you finally got around to doing this project. in all seriousness, i would consider pressure washing that engine bay. if you need a hand, just give me a yell and i'll be on my way.

 

SOMEBUDY needs a can or two of brake clean! LOL looking good. I'm about to start searching to see what's its going to take to hook my throttle cable up when it comes time to do my motor swap. Sher would be nice to send me in the right direction. Wink Wink.

 

clean shmean! LOL...I ain't cleaning crap. Okay I'll wipe down the fuel rails and intake tracts. 2 cans of carb cleaner wouldn't do it. LOL


I got the injectors in. Took the j-tube off...found the j-hook bolts at home depot. (clothes hanger bolts) But nothing is lining up...I need to drink a beer tonight and think about it.

I appreciate the offer Josh...once i get the TB figured out and done, if it's a weeknend when that happens I'll invite ya down...otherwise, powerwash my *** maybe. Dirt is what hold that engine bay together.

I did a short vid of the screws spinning. It gives a awesome view of how dirty the interior of the blower is EXCEPT those screws. I am quiet suprised how well they look. As soon as it loads I'll post it.

why does one of you inj's have a blue o-ring and the rest are black? did you change one at some point?

btw, those are NOT the same inj's i got with my radix kit. i believe those are the svo inj's. I'm running the marine inj's.
