I tuned an 8.1L with a whipple that made 500ftlbs at the wheels and that was non-intercooled for a 2500hd with an allison that thing would run

 

My best on the dyno was 398/505 at the rear wheel. I had a few spikes of 511 and between, but that was my best hp/tq combo. Whipple seems to make some nice low end torque. Hey O2, i dont wanna hijack this thread but i am still fumbling with this tune. Do you still have the tune saved that you used for him? Pm me if you do, i dont wanna walk on this thread.

 

Start a new thread, we're all interested. Why so polite, considering how so many people change the subject so often in your threads?

 

pm sent, hell if you want too post up the logs with the tune and we can all go thru it. Ill input changes/ideas and everyone else can several hundred brains are better than just me either way send it and Ive got time too look at it now. BTW I think he eventually hit close to 600 with 5psi he got some midlength headers and full exhaust
