Way more than an 80e. And shift kit. I only went that route because i cant fit my truck in the shop so i had to swap trannys in the middle of a canadian winter in the driveway.

I am, but only because I couldn't have my truck down for the 80 swap. If your gonna keep the 65 its the only way to go. Don't expect to abuse it on a regular basis and have it last long term.

I plan on trying 500hp on a 2800 stall and awd on the level 7

Just pulled a lvl7 out of a 2wd Tbss with a Procharged 402. He got 1600 miles out of it. Put a built $4500 80 in it Friday and he got 100 miles before loosing all movement. Think he may have stripped the turbine splines in the converter. Ill know this afternoon.

Just the turbine splines in the converter. The trans/converter is paying shipping both ways plus a little for R&R. Doesn't get much better than that!
