There was definitely something wrong...how much psi were u at??.....im guessing at around 8-9??.
Thats not even too much of what these engines can take. A friend's truck that i helped him build made 510 rwhp @ 11psi without TC locking up....ran a 11.8@113. Hes a member here too (la diablita)...but of course it was well tuned with meth.....raced alot of times with no issues. Until he put nos, thats where a piston failed.

 

$3200 is waaaaaay too much money for a 6.0l. I will sell you one for 1500 + shipping

Thats a waste of money. A 40k mile complete engine for 11-1400 is much more reasonable. It makes no sense to pay that much money for something that has no advantage over the other option. I got my 60k mile lq4 complete throttle body toe exhaust manifold to oil pan for $795.

 

You can build a long block for that much.

 

yeah i figure 3200 was lil much...but some of the site i been on ,the y want 7000 for an ls3 6.2 with 480 hp...complete wire ecm ...everything....but the tranny
