If the theory of .1 gained for every 100lbs lost is true, by removing my tonneau, tailgate, back seat and tire/rim change from 22's to 20's, I lost over 300lbs which should equate to 10.7's off my old time of 11.07. Just by adding the smaller diameter tires on top of that, should give me another .2 and judging by how much I was spinning yesterday along with the head wind is how I came up with 10.5's

No plans for a cage today, but you never know. If I do go back, I'll need to get 4 drag slicks and toss those Nittos in the trash can...my street tires hooked better than those. ...it all depends on if you beat my time Rob, lol. Maybe then I'll invest another 2k in tires and see what's up!

Wondering how a new ZO6 or Hellcat with slicks would be allowed to run. Is there a rule for factory stock or do they just allow it?

Yes there is a rule for factory down to the tires... you add a drag set up and that all goes out the window.

God damn Patriots... I gotta hand it to Denver defense though. They made "better" teams than ours look silly this post season.

I don't think my truck has 10.50's in it without laughing gas. Should I start making the excuses now?
I hope to beat 10.80's but we all know there are no guarantees. Time will tell. Also, whats most impressive to me about this run is how fast it is from 0-100 when that is repeatable on the street.

Forgot the updated engine bay pic with new 5" intake tube. As you can see, I'm getting a good amount of belt slip

Try upgrading to larger idlers. Others on here have run similar size blower pulley's with no meaningful signs of belt slip. Dual 100mm should help solve the problem.

By the way, I assume thats a 2.8" pulley?

Will do, thanks brah! Yes it is

Bro, with no belt slip, that's another 2 psi or theoretical 10.3's

Theoretical... hmmm. Sounds like a lot of steam for that 2300! I hope you get there haha

We all have belt dust on our pulley's... I dont think that necessarily means you have belt slip. Are you seeing boost drop suddenly?

What's the spacer behind the TB? I get belt dust but no noticeable slip. Map reading is solid, you think you are loosing 2psi via slip?
