Boys and their toys, if it wasn't for this boost addiction I would actually have to sit and make conversation with my wife every night. Sounds like to much work for me, I'll stick with the stress of guessing how long this tranny will hang and the 50 other things related to this project.

I knew from all the input of you guys and videos here and there this thing had alot more potential then what it was running. From here I'm gonna find a way to get a 5lb spring, (FBC) thinks it has only a 1lb spring and wait for the FMIC from Billy. Once again thanks to all the input everyone had to offer and I will keep posting as I progress on this adventure.

Good to hear, like I'd said, 5psi alone is going to feel huge. Good to see you found that. As for the trans, if you drive it civilized and put a shift kit in there asap you're going to have your best shot at the stock trans lasting a while anyway. With a shift kit the 65E can hold up to some decent power as long as you drive it with the price of a good trans in the back of your mind.

The Allison is nice, pretty tough too, but i think that the 4L80E is a better tranny for racing. The Alli can hold about 120rwhp over stock pretty well for a long time, after that.....its gets dicey. Some say they have been running 200+wrhp on thier stock Allisons, but i would guess they are not DD's. A nice thing now, they have just released support for the Allison in EFILive (i think HPT has it too), so now i can actually start tinkering with the shift points and stuff. Sorry to get off topic......you dont have the allison in your Yukon, im sure of it, unless you got one of those rare Dmax Yukon's....
