I have been searching for awhile now and having a hard time deciding what muffler to run with a 4in. Duramax exhaust for my 6.0 turbo with 3in. downpipe. I would like to here some videos of the 4in. magnaflow muffler they seem to be what everybody is going with?

 

The magnaflow sounds awesome. I use to think straight Thu mufflers were all the same.

 

Yeah I have always liked the quality of the magnaflows and for the price I just haven't heard them on a turboed silverado with a 4in. exhaust to know if I like it

 

I'll try to get a sound clip for you soon. I have a 3 inch down pipe to 4 inch diesel cat and 4 in dynomax - slight drone but quite mean sounding.

I run a 30" 4in/4out magnaflow on my truck. Not sure why but it didn't last very long. When I put it on the truck, it was dead quite which is exactly what I wanted. It sounded like a stock truck. For some reason, it is pretty loud now. It sounds amazing, I just wish it stayed quiet like it was when it was new.

 

Wouldn't happen to have a idle video?

 

Sounds awesome I'm just trying to quite the idle I live in a apartment and my neighbor is getting pissed when I start it at 7am lol

 

I don't have a video of mine but my 4" magnaflow is too loud for my taste. Gonna see how 2 of them in series sounds. I have a 4" DP and exhaust exits before the rear wheel though.
