That's the biggest factor that pushed me towards the TVS. IMO a centri or turbo would be better suited to a lighter chassis or manual gearbox, but they all make power.

I like my turbo but like said before, the boost is instant but tapers off on the top end, still makes my 5.3L ecsb 4wd run in the high 12's on 7lbs.

The 88mm was almost instant??

Oh ok. Yeah the difference is pretty huge unless you have a ridiculously tiny turbo. That little 65mm came on literally almost instantly on the 6.0...if you couldn't hear a whistle you might think it was a blower. Only made 7psi though

What size motor are you going to be running? I don't really think you can go to big of an exhaust with a turbo so 3.5" will be fine. Check Craigslist for factory duramax exhaust systems because they are cheap (just swap the muffler out). It's a straight shot back from the tail pipe to the down pipe, but if you go SC you could hook it up to a Y-pipe as well.

We are building a 6.2 set up right now. Customers require fast spool and has no plans to go into the engine. We are doing a 72mm bb. But he is using a STOCK engine. If you are going to add a bigger cam, do a 76MM BB.
That will get you to 700HP to the ground. Be able to pull and still have fun.
If you are looking at buying a blower, headers, and a new cat back. Then change it later, you will be selling the blower and the headers, the cat back you can work around. or sell it and buy a cheaper diesel exhaust.
