Exclamation Exhaust if far too "raspy"

Well, I've completed my "build" on my 2013 Sierra 5.3 6L80E with a SPT Turbo kit.
Did a build thread in the Project Forum
Click Me to read.
I've been getting the tuning dialed in slowly and it's currently running pretty damn strong @ 15psi
My issue is the "rasp" (sounds like a cherry bomb exhaust on an old pick up). When under heavy throttle - the turbo sings and it's a symphony of goodness! I absolutely despise the sound of the truck when not in boost.

I ran a 3" from the turbo to the rear bumper with a pair of DynoMaxx bullets inserted in for good measure

What's everyone here using for exhaust and how's it sound (subjective - I know)? Considering putting a resonator in line or making the system dual over the axle to help "smooth" out the exhaust note.

Thanks in advance.

I like vibrant ultra quiet resonators for removing rasp. They work really well.

Well Id say you got rasp cause you basically put 2 cherry bombs for your mufflers lol

I have a 3" downpipe that goes to a 4" MBRP muffler then a diamond eye duramax cat back after that with their 4" diesel muffler, both stright through large round mufflers. I have almost no rasp I think but it still drones like a **** on the highway

get a straight-through (as opposed to chambered) muffler with a case to have somewhere for the sound to absorb into. my dynomax ultra flo sounds great - very smooth.

Thanks for that. I found and ordered something similar to what Vibrant was offering - a pair of magnaflows 17223 UltraFlow.

FFDP suggested this to me and it was like night and day. I had a short 3 inch in and out manaflow. This was installed after it due to space and it really helped.

Okay, so I was able to remove 1 of the Bullet mufflers (rear most 1) and installed 1 of the Magnaflow 17223 mufflers (the other 1 I ordered - at the exact same time and from the same place - is scheduled to come today for some reason) in it's place.
Oh gawd - It Sounds Awesome!!!
Truck went from sounding "bbblllaaaaaa" to nice and mellow hhhrooommmm. My buddy has a high dollar Borla cat back on his truck and I swear mine now sounds similar.
I'm going to return the 2nd 17223 unit as it's not needed.
