So, I'm looking at ebc's for my project (5.3 s480 ccsb 2wd). I don't know much, but I do know you can dial in the boost ramp to increase as desired, and I'm thinking that could really prove to be an asset when trying to launch this thing, since its 2wd, just add that boost gradually until you're at a speed where you can handle it better, am I right? I was looking at NLR's ams1000, as it came recommended by a friend. But I have another friend who offered to sell me his HKS evc6 Color. Now, the ams is $1k new, but my friend is asking $550 for the HKS (possibly get it a little cheaper) which is half the price. From what I've read online, the HKS sounds to be a bad *** unit, does anyone have any experience with either/both, and can offer some knowledge?
