I bought my second spring from a local tuner shop (pricy) which was good for 3.5 psi. On a side note, my stock 5.7 engine/heads was nearly maxing out the single WG. I am installing a 2nd one this spring. I believe having more wastegate capacity will allow the boost to climb much faster and stay put rather than having the wastegate go wide open early and the boost slowly rise to the set point. With nothing else changing, 2 valves should have quicker boost buildup than 1 valve that opens 100%.

i dont see any reason why 2 valves would build quicker boost than one. the point is to keep the boost down and that is what more wg will help do. 2 valves will start to creep open just like one valve.

It was the case for me earlier where I needed to set the wastegate to 5 psi to maintain 8 at full throttle. A larger wastegate could have been set to 8 so the boost could have snapped to and stayed at 8 psi instead of slowly levelling off at 8 psi. If his single wastegate turns out to be undersized, 2 wastegates will provide quicker boost.

Now with bigger motor and heads, low boost spring (3.5psi) will max out my 2 bar.

For what its worth, the STS kit for a Ram SRT-10 includes two 38mm valves.
