i guess i dont know what you are talking about. i have controled 2 gates thru more than one style of boost controler with no problems.

what is an evalve and what has to go thru it?

The hi tech sts system uses a regulator and a e-valve to apply pressure to the back side of the gate to assist the spring to give a second boost setting... But while the e-valve is closed, the back side of the gate has to vent through the dis charge of the e-valve.... I'm starting to think it is too restrictive for one waste gate, let a lone two...

I'll go dig up a picture.......

i will have to look at those pics for awhile to get what is going on. reguardless i dont think twin gates are going to have any more air volume than one large gate. i am talking about the amount of control air. the displacement of the diaphram. does that make sence?

if twin gates dont work because of the potential problem you mentioned then one very large gate would have the same problem

I wish I could find those valves to buy, I'm sure "IF" STS would sell them they will want about twice what they cost for them.

I call them e-valves.. lol no clue what STS refers to them though....

But that is the valve that I think may cause too much restriction when the waste gate has to vent when opening...

plus sts wont sell anyhting seperate. me and my friend tried to buy one of their oil pumps (for the return line) and they said no way would they sell one seperately, but they would be happy to sell us one in a whole turbo kit (asses).
