Also if you have the same cam, that would be fantastic. I can trade tables also.

I was told by a wise man once, don't touch the VE table. leave it stock. If you want to tune your ltrims, do it via IFR table. It works like a charm. PM me for more details.

I literally spent a year trying to figure out how to get my damn ltrims to 0 or -
It drove me insane trying to keep adjusting the VE table. My ltrims have been perfect since adjusting the IFR table.

I found your tune in one of the websites for HPtuners. I tried using the VE table which was close to stock. However I was not aware of the IFR table so I will try modifying that table in conjunction with the Stock VE table.

My custom mail order tune which i was finally able to read has and has lasted well for a year. upon downloading i found a much different VE table and a constant IFR table. The road dyno showed 520 RWHP on that tune. Im looking for ways to get more out of my tune.

Cheers

don't use that tune, it's a mess. i posted that up awhile ago. That's some serious HP. damn. don't mess with the ve or the ifr unless your ltrims are +++, and they should be constant if your fuel pressure regulator is being used.

My Ltrims are quite constant within +6. However Im finding that I need to do more tuning in PE mode. Also the meth makes it rich at the top end. Any suggestions.

Im also trying to baby the 4l60 - So I usually let off slightly between the 1-2 shifts. I will be getting a wideband sensor next week to fully understand the AFR in the tune.

If touching the VE is so bad... You definitely wouldn't want mine then... All the major tables are touched and based on what's been said here it should run worse instead of better. I must have just gotten lucky.

Who told you this?

Tuning trims via the IFR seems to have been the old way of doing things, before newer and better tuning methods have been discovered/created. It's more of a bandaid fix than a proper solution to the problem...

Why not leave the IFR accurate and tune the real areas that are incorrect, the VE and MAF Frequency Calibration tables. You'll end up with an all around better tune.
