I ordered GM Part # 12580698 online from Rock Auto. Ended up costing me something like $75 CDN with exchange, shipping, taxes, etc. Dealer wanted $150 CDN and said I would have to wait for it to ship from the US anyway! It is available from GMPartsDirect($49.33 US shipped) but not to Canadians. We are forced to go through the dealers when dealing with GM.

If you look it up on one of those sites it shows that it is a "Manifold Pressure Sensor" for supercharged 2004 Buick Regal/Park Avenue. So that's what I would specify if you have a dealer look it up.

AutoVE Tutorial>Create AutoVE Map>step 11- add the extra labels here or you can edit the Map's properties if you have already created it.

As for the table to change in EFILive, it's the MAP Sensor Scaler table {C6304}. You need to take a before MAP reading from the Flashscan at key on engine off so you can match it up after you install the new 2bar MAP. EFILive sayes 190 for the 2bar scaler, but I had to set mine to 194 to get the same 85kpa I had with the 1bar MAP.

What he said.

Sorry , I'm still in Auto VE mode.

Mine ended up at 197 or 198. 190 is just a starting point. You have to do the switch and take the readings while at the same atmospheric pressure. If you take a MAP reading one day you can't use it as a reference for adjusting the MAP scaler on a different day.

I've been thinking about upgrading to the HPtuners 2bar software, but, was talked out of it by the guy who tunes my truck.

It seems it is a waste of time. That's the answer I was given. I found it odd too. The world may never know.
