If I add a ling gt3-2 would I NEED a tune, i know I should have a tune but
will my radix tune get me by and show some performance improvements until I get a wideband and hptuners, another 1000 bucks
Where I live there are no tuners and would prefer not to go with a mail order.
I saw the #'s trever1t posted in the dyno section, 448rwhp and it is very impressive.
similar setup to mine but with cam and dyno tune.
thanx in advance

do you mean gt2-3? I say yes. You'll be fine. The cam holds the exhaust open a little longer with the intake shorter and idles great. great power cam for the blower. I have never seen the tune for one, if it idles as calm as most say, you'd think it would be fine until you can really tune it in. As far as rippin and roaring around with it and no tune besides your maggie tune...I don't know. Maybe Crash, BC, or one those guys will chime in.

I'm not sure if you'd do ok on the stock tune with the cam. I'd call Nelson and have him tune a PCM for you and install that after the cam swap. From what i've read Nelsom is the best bet for a Mail order tune when FI and/or cam if you dont have a dyno within 200 miles!
As far as set up's we do have a few differences, I'm higher compression and dissipate heat better with the L33 but I doubt that makes too much difference and you have less drive train loss. The cam and SC combo is a great choice!
