Default Do I NEED a fuel pump??

I'm running a D1SC procharger on my 04 4.8L (return-less system). It has minor bolt ons (Headers, MSD wires, TR6s) The previous owner of the D1SC kit ran the stock pump and said it was fine running ~9-10lbs. Do I absolutely need a pump? or can I get away with the stocker? thanks!

I agree with Thunder. It's cheap insurance too.

get a fuel pressure guage and keep your eye on it, if you don't see a pressure drop its fine.

Pressure isn't usually the issue... Volume is, get yourself a 255 pump, its that hundred dollar bill you wish you would have spent when you cook a motor...

the pressure and volume are directly related tho. Same diameter fuel line, it never changes, so if it holding a steady pressure, its up to flow. All we really want is 58psi at the injectors. I think anyway lol

I would get a pump, I need too
