Default Direct port Alky?

Has anybody tried it? I was looking at the different alky kits out there and I definalty like the coolingmist kits. They have this new progressive controller that looks top notch. It looks like with direct port you will have more even fuel flow to each cylinder. Im thinking about using a 5 gallon tank in the back of the truck bed and having the pump mounted under the bed. That way it always has alky going to it and you want be worried if it's primed. If you cant tell Im planning on running alot of alky and well......Boost!

coolingmist

Damn, those kits are crazy! I assume you're looking at one of the trunk mount kits. They definatley have nice kits, but everything seems to be an upgrade. Their controller looks to be bad *** too, but pricey.

The trunk mount looks sick.

So did they give you a quote for what a kit would cost that has direct port injection, with their progressive controller and a 5gal tank?

I forgot to get a price quote about the direct port because I think im just going to run 2 m15 nossles before the TB. For the dual nossle setup using all stainless line he quoted me $599. I would still have to buy a fuel tank so that's anythere $100. Im definalty going too do one or the other but im not sure which yet.

You will loose the IAT cooling going direct port. Unless I'm missing something I don't see the benefit other than the octane or if you are at the limits of current injectors.
