I drive mine everyday, obviously except for when it was down for tranny and clutch swaps. I've put a little over 15,000 turbocharged miles on it, and my only issue is oil control. I contribute this to a lovely mail order tune on the stock fuel system that burned some rings. This isn't a normal issue though if you keep you tune in check. I haven't towed a trailer, but I've had well over 1000lbs in the bed several times with no issues at all. I have towed another ECSB truck for a short distance, but nothing I'd consider towing.

As far as longevity, a turbo can last on long time, if you keep up on your oil changes.

I DD my turbo truck too, when it has an engine and is not on fire. The turbo itself has been fine. The other problems are unrelated to the turbo, but I tow and all that other crap too with no problems.

I would recommend looking into the Trick Turbo setup. Their setup uses a 62-1, which is a bit smaller than the GT-67 (IIRC). It appears to be a well built setup, I'm looking at getting at least the hotside parts from them once my financial situation stabilizes.

Ive put about 1000 miles on my Sts DD truck and other than a few minor problems (Mostly my fault ) It runs great. But it can get spendy fast theres always somthing to buy/upgrade. i think ive spent close to 8 or 9 thousand dollars so far.Other than that PT.net Was the best single resource that i had while i was puttin my turbo on.

HA! That's what I was thinking about when you said you've towed with it.
