I opened up the IAC passage but probably didnt need to since the flow is dictated mainly by the IAC valve.

I recently posted in another thread, I bought an ebay dbc tb to use only for mock up purposes and it is the biggest piece of **** I've ever seen. The blade binds in the throat and won't close all the way, IAC valve won't bolt in as it was machined incorrectly and on and on.

Works great for use as a mock up piece, but I'd never buy one for actual use.

I wonder if there are different "ebay knock-off's" and some are better than others?

i tried to buy the same one both times, and the first one had to be modified to fit the iac(one of the steps was wrong diameter) but the second worked fine. i think maybe they updated the machining specs.
i buy the $90 black one.
i also will loosen the blade screws to adjust the blade so it seats better and apply a little red loctite. its worked well so far on four ebay shitty cheap tbs. two lsx and two evo ones.
im sure the $500 ones are really nice, but its good for us poor folks to have options.

I need to order a pedal and pedal bracket assembly. The bracket looks fun to change, I think I'll just remove my seat prior........

My IAC stayed at 300 until the engine was almost fully warm before I hogged out the passages on my NW 102. My IAC valve was dictating, but the small hole in the throttle wasn't listening. I guess I paid too much for my throttle.

Yeah, $500 plus whatever I charge myself for port work.

I have most of the parts. Gotta get a pedal plate Sunday from a buddy that owns a junk yard.

Got a p59 IAC computer, built a wire harness and got the throttlebody, sensors and cable.

Hopefully tomorrow I’ll have time to wire it up and flash it.

Don't forget to take the shop towel out of the blower inlet before you start it.
