We offer the largest intercooler a for these trucks.
Intercooler sizes are
3" 4" and 5" thick. 23" tall.

Thanks for the offer Rick but I'd be looking for an intercooler like GMCtrk has. I'd like to keep the pipes routed around the radiator

You would be fine with the Treadstone TR1235. You're not getting high enough with boost to make a ton of heat like the OP. I am a Treadstone dealer so let me know what I can do for you.

BTW, the 22" is the core size. Overall is about 29"

My standard cooler is a 3x20x11 core which is 27" overall. That's the biggest that will fit between the frame rails without cutting on the 99-06 trucks.

For any poor soul that cares, I got the intercooler installed. It went well. I could have fit the 6" thick core however, the lower valence would need to be hacked.

I'll be heading to the track Friday. Weather outlook looks great for now, high of 86 low 59.

Looks awesome!

Is this the 4" core? Why not shift to 4" piing as well?

The IC was custom built by Robert at Chieseled Performance.

Core is 4.5" thick. Cold side piping was already what I have and also 4" isn't needed at my level.

Went out to fill up with race gas for $1.65/gal...gotta love E.

Good 3rd gear romp on the highway saw an 8 degree temp rise. Truck still feels slow .
