How much boost were you running through it before you really started noticing a difference?

I've sold 100's of CX Racing intercools in my kits and have one in my own turbo truck. (4x12x31) Until you get over 700 hp, they work fine. I've made over 800rwhp with my truck and this cooler with a single M15 meth nozzle spraying -20* WWF and never had an IAT problem.

I don't see a problem, lol. My IAT's are fine with this setup. Are you telling me that just cuz I spray a little water and meth, that fixes a "horrible" intercooler?

The real issues is you don't really start heating the air till you get above the 13-15psi to the 20+psi range, so you really don't have that hot of air to contend with anyway. Most any intercooler with handle sub 14 psi with out much issue unless its really hot outside and everything is heat soaking anyway. That's the biggest reason I have the meth is to help keep things inline on the really hot days.
