Default CX Racing Intercooler

Anybody used a cx racing intercooler universal kit for their build? Tried looking around put couldn't find much. I see they make a kit for our trucks that runs about $550 and then a universal kit for about $250, just looking to see if anybody has ran either kit and if so how was the fit and quality.

Thanks - Kyle

I used a 31x12x3 in my front bumper with low IAT temps (I did have to notch my frame rails). I bought one of the universal kits and built my piping using the piping that came in the kit. I just cut it up using a chop saw and lots of couplers. I ran that with a small 76mm turbo up to about 12-13psi with no problems. Now I have their 31x12x4.

Very nice, I figured the universal kit with all the pre-made cut and bends would work just have to cut pieces and needed. And that's all I'll be looking to run for now on my 76mm as well.

I ordered one of their universal 31" setups as well for my build. Intercooler, pipes, etc look pretty good. I'm sure there are better, more efficient brands for more coin but the price is right and I don't think piping, couplings, and A2A intercoolers aren't exactly rocket science either.

I cant remember exactly, but the core was 31x14x4 or something like that. Had to cut out the bottom of the radiator support thing in front so it could sit down between the rails under the hood latch.

Well it turns out the more I read the more I see some people saying the cx intercoolers aren't the best at keeping temps down? Anybody have any insite on this? Any other recommended coolers? Don't need something crazy but do t want to have to worry about getting too hot

Cx chinese intercoolers are junk imo.

A treadstone is a good mid grade intercooler.
