tim thanks for taking the time to respond with actual effort. its people like you that make these forums going. although im still not sure if i want to go gas or diesel i really appreciate your time.
im going to continue to do research and see what would be required to get me there with a gas combo.

I haven't ran my truck with the cam and 10psi but im sure its in the mid 12's somewhere. This is a good combo for a gas truck. See sig for mods.

Setup in my sig got my crew cab in the 12's, and that wasn't pushing the motor really at all at 6psi. If I would have had the fuel system to support 10psi, it would have gone quite a bit deeper. I only had a single walbro with a returnless fuel system. It was very streetable, and it was my DD.

Sorry, that setup was the lq4 with tvs1900, 215/224/114 isky cam, 2800 converter, obx longtubes with a SINGLE 2.5" muffler with 6psi boost. Never had it at the track with the turbo, but I think its probably 2-3 tenths faster at 7-8psi of turbo boost.
