Coolant Tank Problem on Turbo Silverado

Forgot to mention one detail of filling through the top hose. When doing so, you can leave the output from the steam setup unhooked and fill until you get coolant from there. Then connect that, keep filling through top hose. Theoretically not necessary, but that usually gives me peace of mind that I got most or all the air out of the tops of the heads.

I have them on my website (welded or diy kits) and also have this coolant tank breather can combo I need to get rid of I have sitting around.

UPDATE: I rigged up my old stock coolant tank and haven't had a single problem yet. Problem solved.

Is that little tank vent hose pre or post cap?
Is it an overflow port.
