Default controlling boost off the line ...

what are you guys doing to control the boost off the line while at the light. if i brake stall my truck and let off when it hits 8 psi it launches hard but breaks loose a little bit but if i hold it till 12 psi the truck turns into a hover craft "awd burn outs". what are you guys using or doing to control the boost at the light so you dont over boost and blow the tires off? im using a eboost2 as a controller and would really like to get this dialed in before i hit the track in 2 weeks.

not familiar with the eboost but does it have a ramp feature like the AMS units?

also you can do as many do and control wheel speed by timing

I used to just hit the button on the eboost to go to a preprogrammed higher setting as it shifted to 2nd. 14psi in 1st then 25 in 2nd. Slows you down quite a bit but works if you are traction limited.

Without a controller. Tough.
But you
Use the gas pedal to controll the boost and how it launches.
Rolling into the throttle.

My right foot...or my wallet via better tires.

Good shocks help a lot too so you dont shock the tires.

what controller do you recommend ? thing is my stall is pretty tight and i really have to stand on it to get the turbo to light but once it does it shoots up in boost pretty fast but it going to be hard to watch the boost gauge and the staging light at the same time to get a good light. will the holly 2 step help control it ?

so you just watch your gauge and feather the gas pedal ? what tires are you running , im just afraid if it hooks to good its going to break stuff i was thinking about getting some et streets.

If it has a ramp feature then control amount of boost based off time

Other way is control timing, I've done this when not using boost controller

im not sure if it has a ramp feature .it has allot of settings but the crappy thing is that the manual doesnt go over all of the features for some reason.
