Default compretion ratio

I have a 2003 Chevy HD with a 6.0 and just replaced the blown stock piston with diamond forged pistons. Here are the specs, Part#11514, bore=4.000, comp height=1.336, stroke=3.622, rod length=6.098, efective volume=-13.7cc. Can any body tell me what my compretion ratio would be? And maybe how much boost I could run with the right tune, oh yea I used cometic head gaskets. Thanks for any help.

According to my calculations your final static compression ratio should be 8.96:1. I allowed for a positive deck of .010" and a compressed gasket of .054". If these dimensions are different than the final c/r will change accordingly. At the current c/r level, one cc will change the final compression .08 of a point.

Hope this helps.

Theoretically, take 14.7, divide by boost, plus 1, multiply by your compression. This will get you close to your boosted compression ratio.
