We were able to do some shake down runs with Hank's SSR at SpeedWorld on Saturday. This SSr is a 6 Speed and is proving to be a little hard to become consistent with. Like stated these are shake down runs at just 10psi of boost. We found a few more things to spend money on. The Upper Control Arms for the rear axle were bending on launches and unloading the rear suspension. The tires were actually moving 2.5" forward in the wheel wells during the launch and shifts. We also need a line lock to hold the SSR still long enough to be able to heat the rear tires up for the starting line. Hank will scan the time slips for these runs so I can add them to the post.

It is a 2005 SSR 6 Speed with a 427 LS2 and the MP122HH MagnaCharger at 10 PSI of Boost.

11.7 Run

11.8 Run

11.9 Run

We were seeing some good 1.70's in the 60 ft, I hope to get it a little better when we can launch it harder.

The ride down the 1/4 is alot more involved with the 6 speed. Hank did a great job driving it. I think the new control arms, line lock and a shift light and we can get it alot more consistent.

The 60ft was in the 1.7's and the MPH were around 119.5. We need to do the rear control arms, shift light and line locks for the next runs.
