single walbro 255 in tank will get you over 500whp w/ returnless. probably a little more w/ the return system. made 501whp before pressure dropped slightly on my returnless.

probably 400 rwhp or so. To me if you are going boosted, it is always necessary to upgrade

Does anybody know how do "delete" a stock FPR mounted on the stock rails? This is a 2000 - 6.0L so it is a return type. I am looking to add an aftermarket (magnafuel) boost referenced FPR on my return line and don't want the stock FPR to regulate the fuel before it gets to my adjustable FPR. I am running the stock rails, feed and return with 2 walbro's in the tank one set on a hobbs switch. Any input is appreciated.

Your build looks familiar! see my sig. Why are you wanting the aftermarket reg? My stock one works fine.

well, you bring up a good point. I wasnt sure if I even do need an adjustable fpr? Are you just running a stock FPR on your driver side rail? and I take it you dont have any fuel pressure issues?

Has anyone on here tried out a mechanical pump? I was looking at 1000+ hp e85 street setups where guys were using cable driven mechanical pump. It would be small cog belt on crank to a mount with pulley. You then mount fuel pump back by the tank and its powered by a cable. Benefit is they are cheap compared to big time pumps and the one pump is always running. If the belt breaks the pump stops and motor shuts off. They will also run cooler then if you had big electric pumps running all the time. A downfall is low pressure while cranking motor to start
