Never really thought about the air flow back there. It would be pretty easy to come out of the turbo and into an intercooler back there. I dont know, maybe I should at least try and check the air flow back there. If not, a2w would work.

So that is a 5.3 iron block with 5.7 forged pistons? I was thinking of doing that combo next but it looks like I have alot of rust on the #4 cylinder, I think its more than the 5.7 bore. I think you should be able to do it. The OBS trucks are alittle lighter as well. The turbo in the bed sounds interesting. Sounds good to me. I think the trans will be the weak link, she may hold for a little while. Good luck.

Ok I reread it, the new setup is the 347ci. Got it. What compression?

it is an iron block 5.3 bored to 3.90, stock crank, Eagle rods w/ARP rod bolts, Diamond pistons, Speed Pro rings. With the Patriot 72cc heads, it will be 9:1.
I expect the trans to go south soon, but I have a tranny builder that I think is as good as anyone. We have 4l60s behind anything from track only cars with 300+ passes to 408 turbo awd Silverado SS'.
