Default cold air box on turbo

any one running a cold air box on turbo set up .the one that completely cover air filter .it feeds air to turbo through bottom feeder well.

Not a cold air box but I made a sheet metal cover for my air filter and covered it with DEI cool tape. Seems to be helping IATs a little bit...if that's your goal

Im using the stock box on mine. I have a duct feeding air from the lower right corner of the bumper to the bottom of the box.

This is what I ultimately want to do with my SLP box when I go turbo. Even if I had to cut a new hole where the current filter mounts.

that what i was thinking i was doing some data logging .i noticed when fans are on high .temp drops on engine . but i.a.t goes up .think turbo sucking the the hot air off radiator

I was running an open turbo (no filter) and my iat would be 150+ WOT with water/meth and 93 octane.

I put the shield on with a filter and my iat are around 120 WOT in the Texas heat. Ill post a pic later its not the prettiest but gets the job done and only cost 26 bucks. 6 dollars for the stainless sheet at home depot and 20 for the cool tape.

I also wrapped my intake charge pipe with the DEI cool wrap
