Check in over at 355Nation if you aren't already on there, and you'd save yourself a lot of money, sir. I want to say that you'd be 5 of 5 to blow your I5 trying to throw boost on it. Let me know how it goes, though. I've got a nitrous Colorado, and it has served me well.

Ah not to be a jerk but I am on 355 and only now of one to blow and I blew a head gasket (my own fault) and no others and one other thats on e85 and 16lbs of boost with no issues on stock motor these motors are actually very stout I pushed 25lbs of boost and only blew head gasket so I'm not to worried.

Are you actually on 355Nation? I'm sure LaColorado would love to chime in and agree. I can think of two right off-hand that I know of having the same issue. I don't see how in the hell you pushed 25 lbs. of boost, but if it's running great for you, more power to you. Nice to see a 355'er, nonetheless.

EDIT: I did my homework and see where you've lowered the compression on the motor. My apologies, sir. I do know a few on the Nation blew, though. Not sure of the exact user's whose trucks they were. Anyways, it all makes sense now. And yes, found you on 355Nation.

GM built a turbo I-5 Colorado (or was it a Canyon? Oh well same thing) years ago to use as a push truck for their salt flats program with the Saturn Ion RedLine. Made 350hp IIRC. It was a really nice ride.

We broke a rod in one at 387rwhp on pump gas only. That was at 15psi.

CC05 I screwed up and did not see the second bung on the wastegate so thought it would work but obviously didn't and watched the boost gauge go straight to 25 and tore the motor down and inside was golden just the head gasket I have forged rods for it but not pistons yet so compression is still stock (10 to 1) and as soon as I get this miss fixed I will push to 12 lbs I also have snow Perf water meth to help out with a safety buffer but 05quick4door is running E85 at 16 lbs of boost and no issues and I haven't seen lacolorado on any of the turbo threads at least not saying he has one and I'm assuming you've seen victoryredzq8 and his setup, my setup is similar but I'm the only one with this good of a turbo (not bragging just stating fact) there next to no turbo lag the most vacuum I've seen is less than 2 lbs and goes boost instantly. So no argument here just conversing and giving as much info as possible
