Well didn't go so well I screwed on the wastegate and didn't notice Precision turbo put a second banjo hole and so the wastegate didn't vent and she put up boost almost instantly and entirely to much like between 20 and 25lbs so smoked the head gasket and maybe a couple rings but I'll have another engine here fri so got those issues worked out, by the way I had planned on getting a second engine to build slowly I already have forged rods and pistons are just about done from JE so just don't want to pay for the head work yet so hopefully I'll try again on Sat.

Are you not running a boost gauge? This is the second thread this month someone has popped a engine because of installer error with the wastegate.

I've had a few issues, smoked the tranny so I rebuilt it with a Monster in a box that they advertise as being good for 500HP and added an adjustable FPR but have a big miss at 2/3 - 3/4 throttle and I do believe its the plugs I have in and a gap thats way to big this is my first turbo setup so learning as I go so its in a shop right now I finally asked for help but pretty sure thats the problem so I'll see early next week.
