Mikegyver,

Did you end up going with this setup - I am curious as my TB is in the same area. I would think that the filter is in an area which gets lots of hot air but would like to hear about your experience. Did you get any gains at all from the lower pressure.

I don't know, the air was too hot. I never pursued bringing cooler air to it, I got busy with my new engine.
