Have not driven my truck in a week. Went to go get into boost for the first time today and this is what happened. Man I need to get rid of this thing and go SD. Oh Nonnieselman







p.s. I took these with my cell phone I just got today. Man it takes better pics than the old one.

I've seen that several times on FI setups. The stock MAF was not designed to hold in air pressure.

This one that broke was a Oreilly's reman. Still was under warranty, so they just gave me a new one 10min ago. When I was under boost and let out of the throttle was when it blew apart. Pricing out a GM 2bar map sensor right now, $74 was about the cheapest I could find so far from a dealer.

Pricing out the 2 bar for less then $100 is the least of the concern lol.

send Torque_Wrench a PM, tell him I sent you his way, see what he can get you 2bar sensor for. I "think" I have a used maf in my shed somewhere if any body needs one. LOL
