Update, cam is in! just finishing up and waiting on the brown truck to bring me some Comp Cam 675 dual springs.
First LS cam swap/chain job I did myself= Wasn't to bad, o-ring wasn't fun but wasn't horrible either. I'll know it's a job well done one first crank and I have some good old oil pressure. Faster time slip wouldn't hurt either.
Back to work though, I picked up some Comp Trunion from a local that need to be pressed in after breakfast lol.
Any luck she'll be rocking and rolling tonight, do some tuning tomorrow moring, then off to the track!

It's a JBA shorty on drivers and KB racing kit from there with a 3" DP.

should sound a lot meaner and get some more horses too. i was amazed how much thicker the ls2 chain is. i put one on a couple yrs ago. yes that o ring is a bitch. i dropped pan to make is easier.

Wow, thats a big difference in the timing chains. Looks like my BMX chain compaired to my RMZ450 dirt bike chain hahahaha.
Cant wait to hear this thing fire up. Sucks you had to get new springs but also a good thing you found those broken ones when you did.
