The pump and injectors will give you the fuel delivery you need However, is your kit intercooled? Pushing anymore than 5 or 6 pounds of boost without an intercooler is asking for detonation. Even if you can tune around the detonation the air from the added boost will be so hot it will likely not add much power. I'm not real smart on turbos but I think your next step should be an intercooler or a meth injection kit to get you air temps down. Good luck with it

Yep need some meth or innercooler, not so much in the winter, but my none-innercooled air teps get pretty high when it is only 40 deg out.
Does the turbo spoool up good and quick? how many miles are on the truck? Mine had 88,000 and about 3,000 of turbo miles. when I removed the cats they looked like brand new, but there have been many people here that had there cats plug up with less miles, so if you don't mind LOUD, and have the tools I say do it. You WILL do it some time, Now or later that is your choice.lol

What have you done to the trans to keep it from blowen????

the truck only has 30,000 miles and like 2,000 with the turbo. the tranny is stock the truck pulls. i just want to buy the meth kit, injectors, and in line pump to get some better times. there is partically no lag in this thing and the turbo kicks in quick. what should i do to the tranny? i just hate those honda ***** and wanna show them what a big *** chevy truck can do

first thing Id do is invest in a shift kit and keep your fingers crossed the tranny holds up.

If you dont have to worry about inspections Id definatley get rid of the cats, boost will drop some but you will make more power and get better mileage.

I'd really turn my funds toward building a trans that can take the hp of the turbo if I were you, gut the cats while you are doing the trans upgrades. Not sure what you need, (I just did the 4l80e swap)

I have the base STS kit as well. A couple of months back I removed my cats and noticed a difference after Allen Nelson tuned for it and shut off my rear 02 sensors. The spool up is a little better, but the noise is ALLOT more noticeable even with my tailpipe on. I will be putting a resonator on to cut down the noise.
Not that is doesn't sound cool as hell, but the cop attention is not needed.

All the others that responed to this post have already told you the things that you will need to do to make your kit above 5 psi work. The biggest thing is being able to control those intake temps.
I suggest you get some type of two stage boost controller so you are not always running high boost. Its fun, but you will be sucking gas like crazy and creating high intake temps without some type of intercooler or meth injection.
Happy boosting man!!!!
