cats or no cats with a procharger

I have shorty headers and was wondering are there any performance benefits out of removing the cats with my procharger?

Yes, the bigger the pressure differential on a S/C engine the easier it will breath and the more power you will make.

The truth is I changed from shortys w/cats to long tubes no cats and saw basically no difference in my 1/8 times.......BIG DIFFERENCE in sound, sounds like it has more power.

Did you get it re-tuned with the LTs?

It made a big difference cutting my cats out but then again, I had one almost clogged up.

Yes, retuned for the exhaust changes and meth inj. Dropped a whole bunch of $$$ , however I needed to do it for my next mod- forged 370,cnc heads,bigger cam!!!!!
