Ill have to check out the guy in Chantilly too... The guy in Madison I was told about is Weaver's. John @ Broadview in Opal told me about him, says he takes all his race car transmissions to him.

If someone is telling you to run a 60e behind a x-cab Z71 with a turbo... find new people to get advice from. If you build a 60 to stand up to that combo, it will cost you more than a built 80 and you'll still need to upgrade later. Just my 2 cents...

2nd that. You could install a near bullet-proof 4L80E for around 1/2 the price of the FLT7 and abuse it all you want.

My last mildly built 4L60E (all the bolt ons + HD clutches) lasted about 1,000 miles with only 10 lbs of boost in a crew cab. Swapped to a 4L80E about 2 years ago and haven't looked back. It's a "set it and forget it" conversion.
