cant decide what charger

Trying to finish up the build on my truck
right now its just going to be a stock 5.3, but later on down the road i plan on doing some internal work
Goals for now are 500-550whp, but i still tow small stuff llike boat/atv etc
Im down to a few chargers right now that are in my price range
T4 S472/83/1.0 housing
T4 S475/83/.90 housing
Now i know the s472 will have a little quicker spool but the 475 will flow more air. with the .90 housing on the 475 i think will help the spool a little. I want this to be a fun street truck and dont want it to be a hassle with towing so i was kinda leaning toward the 472
Another thing is those come with a divided housing, my manifold setup will prob be non divided, how much of an issue will this be? Some say on a bigger displacement motor ill never notice but i dont want it to be an issue
Thanks guys

Your really splitting hairs with your turbo chooses. Either of those turbo will do well over your 500-550 goals and be no where near choking. The 72 will spool a little quick, but not a lot even with the .90 housing.

Either turbo will get you to your power goal. I have no experience with BW turbos, but I ran a turbo with similar specs to the S472 on my 5.3l and loved it. The smaller housing on the S475 will help it spool faster, like you stated. The divided housing shouldn't be an issue. Your cam and converter combo will have more of an effect on how well your truck tows IMO. What internal work are you planning on doing in the future?

Do you have a suggestions of something that would be better and be in the same price range?
Conveter is a circle D with a 3000-3200 stall, the most ill be really towing is a 20 foot boat probably. Later i plan on doing different cams/heads.studs and maybe get into a built bottom end, then go for 700+.
I think the 475 would be better for the 700+ range but i dont know when or even if ill ever get to that mark, ill prob end up with the 472/83/.90
