I don't want this thread to get off track, it's pretty much concluded, so if you want me to make a Parts **** thread... I can. It's a bit premature for an actual build thread though.
Regarding the manufacturing of the Pro LS rods. We know you weren't trying to bash them but we wanted to provide some info. We can't disclose who manufactures them but we can tell you that they are made in China. We won't hide from that. Basically, any aftermarket connecting rod at this price point is manufactured in China. The Pro LS rods are finish-machined here in the USA and they get genuine ARP-2000 rod bolts. They've been put to the test and have no problem with 1,200whp in boosted applications. If someone was looking for 100% made in USA rods you're looking at $1,500 on up from the manufacturers that we carry.
How about them Pro LS pistons though? They are pretty and are 100% made in the USA
