Default cam choice for 6.0 with sts

Im working on building my 6 liter to swap into my truck with the STS kit on it. I'd like to see about 500rwhp out of it without upgrading the turbo. I'd also like to keep driveability as close to stock as possible. Its going to be mated to a "rock-on level 4" trans with 3000 fuddle stall. I would appreciate some suggestions for what cam to use in it, or if the stock cam usually see's those numbers with the STS kit. I checked the dyno forum and couldn't find any 6 liter sts numbers.

Oh and i am running 9 psi right now and would like to stay under 12 to make the power.

A cool thing to try if you wanted to keep the stock cam would be to get 8 1.8 rocker arms for the intake valves and leave the stock 1.7s on the exhaust. I'm not sure about which cam is best for your exact combination, but it would probably have a reverse split.

I hit 500 rwhp with a 5.3 and stock cam at 8 psi. You should be able to hit 500 with a stock 6.0 and a stock cam easily. I have a gt-67 instead of the 60.

Bingo -- get the GT67 for the 6.0L it's a perfect match.

I like the cam trt put up as well. Make sure to upgrade your springs.

Thanks for the help guys, i found a good deal on a GT2-3 last night and found a bunch of guys who liked it so i went ahead and bought that. I'd like to upgrade the turbo, but i've got iron heads that i'd like to get rid of too so i think the money is going to go towards that instead for now.

I don't think I'd worry to much about the heads.. I'd rather have a GT67, but I have aluminum heads already lol.
