Yeah LEP has a 224/230 .612/.612 116 LSA "maggy" cam, but its not exhaust biased enough IMO for a high spinning L92 headed motor. Ive just been watching closely what Pat G specs and dyno charts on tech and a few other forums. It seems the maggys really like 10-14*s exhaust bias and the wide LSA helps improve the streat manners too.

Theyve also started grinding a 22x/23x .64x/.64x 116 LSA but I havent been able to find the actual specs on it since they didnt include the last digit of the lift to find the lobe.

Dont mean to hijack. I have a similar question for my 6.0L. maggie 112,patriot HDs,1 3/4 shorty headers, 90mm Tb,2.9 pully. ? Best cam for 2000-6500range. Engine being tranplanted from my truck to a 3000LB car. Was hoping to get OLD MOTORHEADS info. on his truck cam. Would appreciate idle quality(smooth or close to), power range, peak tq rpm, peak hp rpm & actual numbers. Thank, also any opinions related to smaller blower and a 215/227/116LSA being to large ? Dan

The cam is a 215/227 .603/.613 116+0. It's a custom Comp grind using LSL lobes. I came up with the specs patterned after my vette cam and Pat G's recommendations. He actually recommended something a little milder. Idle quality is near stock, but the "educated" ear can tell it's not stock. Manners are pretty much perfect. It pulls hard from idle on up. I just filled up and it went 353 miles on 23.1 gals (little over 15 mpg) in mixed driving. Never had it on a dyno and don't have a clue how it is a 6500rpm becuz I shift at 6000. I don't see much reason to rev it that high. I will say that at 6000rpm, it's still pulling pretty damn hard. It fits me and my driving habits just fine. Your results may vary
