I as well had popping issues when I put new plugs in. Changed the gap and plugs, and stopped it

Took your advice, bought new plug wires yesterday and bought a new set of tr6's. Gapped them at 25.... made some of the worst drag strip passes of my life misfiring the whole way down the track.

Can't really hear it, crappy vid

I still havent read what your timing actually is? I think its way too low, which can cause it run terrible and will build a lot of boost since the combustion event is actually so retarded its happening outside of the chamber so the turbine sees the pressure spike and heat increase instead of the engine. You end up with the engine running poorly and the turbo making a lot of boost. Logs would be tremendously helpful. Try 10* across the board in boost areas. If the timing fluctuates a lot during a wot run take a look at burst knock.

If it doesnt work correctly at 6lbs it has absolutely no business at 12lbs.

The truck ran flawlessly at 6 pounds. Timing is set at 13 degrees all the way across, but im thinking its in the tune. Think im just going to leave it with the tuner for a while after i tighten up that converter.

I also was taking the boost down a pound every pass, and it got better and better the lower the boost was.

Is it tuned on speed density? Pre-MAF boost leaks and vaccuum leaks do the same thing.

Still having issues guys... Truck is making 600 on the dyno now and runs fine until the load is turned up on the dyno. Currently have tr6 gapped at 28. Tuner says cam and crank sensor. We have tried turning knock sensors off, didnt help. Even tried timing at 21 degrees locked, didnt help.

A/f is solid 11.8 ish
On 15 lbs of boost now

Thanks guys

So you have TR6 plugs now at .025", new 1518 springs and the AFR and timing are good.
onlything i can think of is either coil packs, plug wires or a weird tune/sensor issue.

Called around to a few different tuners in al and florida. Only recommendation was smaller gap. So we are about to try 21 thousanths.
