Budget boost

Try superchargersonline.com for possibly a used unit that's complete. He was a longtime member here. Otherwise just save your money. I would pull my Whipple kit off to sell my truck but I really don't have the time. I'd probably ask 4k if I did. Good luck.

I put a LT4 blower on my 18 6.2 about 2 years ago and its been great. Its around 6psi, still on pump 93 and this is my daily driver. Havent had any issues with it, but I dont beat on it either.

I sourced the majority of my budget build on ebay. Whatever direction you go, have patience and look for deals on used bits and pieces here and other forums as well as locally. Trying to talk a buddy into an entire turbo kit sans intercooler for $950 that's 50 miles north of me.
I believe I was all in for under 2k, excluding discovering my D1SC had to be sent off for a rebuild, and then discovering a partial "piston ring land delete mod" when I went to do lifters and that discovery initiating a rebuild. That added 1200 for the rebuild at procharger (they don't sell parts for you to rebuild yourself), and I think I have about 3k in 'rebuild' parts, plus another 1400 into machine work. But my motor is brand new, forged, balanced to over 7k, and can handle more boost than I'll be throwing at it.
