Is that sucker carbon fiber, looks like it. They use that stuff to make driveshafts so I'd think cf would be ok in this application. Before anyone says it I know there are tons of different variations of cf.

Whatever happened, that sucks, glad they are taking care of it!

As with anything, parts will break. While it shouldnt and it sucks that it did, at least Magnacharger is doing the stand up thing by providing a fast replacement.

I talked to David today, that is certainly not normal. These shafts are tested to far heavier torsional loads that you are putting through it. The CF is used because it has a higher critical speed than the steel or billet shafts. You will be hard pressed to find something that can spin at 15-20K rpm unless you are using CF.

dont see that happen to often . pretty nice to see them jump on the overnight like that.

good thing turbos dont use jackshafts.

Magnuson customer service has always been unmatched, in or outside of the industry.

The carbon fiber shaft is the way to go, and warranties exist because defects can happen. I agree, more people should understand this.

Hope u get that problem taken care of. U went with the 8 rib right cause i just saw some other guy snaping belts clean just like if they put scissors through them.
