I always wondered if those things broke. It would seem like the composite shaft is there to absorb some of the shock loads and be lighter. I wonder what the actual reasons for the composite shaft are.

i already talked to magnuson and they are going to send me one overnight we have never had any problems with magnuson they have always taken care of me on the products

gotta love all them belt, pulley, and shaft problems. My turbo set up is still kickin strong with no belt, pulley or shaft problems.......I havent had any luck on my side of customer service from magnusun. I even PMed one of our magnusun guys on here and got no reply. Im feeling the love.

im sorry to hear that but ihave never had any problem with magnuson at all with any one there nor david nor brian (blownchevy) i remember when we were breaking tensioners left and right on this particular truck and called brian up and he send me an upgraded hd tensioner overnight for free

Should never use composite shafts for such a high torque application. In this area there is heat, drive train vibration and transients. All metal (such as 4340) is the way to go!
